Terms and Conditions
When booking a class,
workshop, retreat or event with us you are entering a contract with the
following conditions.
1. Assumption of
Risk:
The client
understands that participating in a yoga class involves physical activity and
potential risk of injury. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any
risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which you might incur as a
result of participating in the class.
2. Physical
Condition:
You affirm that you
are in good physical condition and do not suffer from any medical conditions
that might prevent or limit your participation in a yoga class. You are
not suffering from any diagnosed psychiatric condition, or epilepsy and you are
not under the supervision of a psychiatrist. You are not suffering from
Tinnitus, Meniere’s, Sinusitis or any other condition which is ‘sound
sensitive’ or could be triggered by sound. You don’t have any metal
implants, pins, screws, pacemakers. You will take part in all sessions free
from the influence of either alcohol or drugs. If you have any concerns
about your health or physical condition, you will consult with a medical
professional before participating.
3. Personal
Responsibility:
The client
acknowledges that it is their responsibility to consult with a healthcare
provider prior to and regarding participation in a yoga class. You agree to
disclose any pre-existing conditions or limitations to the instructor and will
follow their guidance throughout the class.
4. Release of
Liability:
The client
hereby releases and discharges the instructor, organisers, and any affiliated
individuals or entities from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of
action arising out of your participation in a yoga class. This includes, but is
not limited to, any injuries, damages, lost or stolen items that may result
from negligence before, during or after the class.
5. Respect for
Others:
You agree to
conduct yourself in a respectful and considerate manner during the class, being
mindful of the well-being and comfort of fellow participants. You understand
that disruptive behaviour may result in the removal from the class without a
refund.
6. Photography
and Recording:
You consent to
the use of any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the class for
promotional or educational purposes.
7. Changes to
Schedule:
You acknowledge
that unforeseen circumstances may require changes to the schedule, and you
agree to be flexible in such situations.
8. Allergen Warning
Please be advised that our kitchen may contain traces of nuts or nut products.
While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee
that any food item is free from allergens. If you have a nut allergy or any
other dietary restrictions, please proceed with caution and inform us of your
needs so we can assist you in making safe choices.
9. Refund Policy
From time to
time, plans may change. The following refund policy outlines the terms under
which cancellations and refunds will be processed:

Private Classes and Workshops
Cancellations
must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time in order to
receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the
scheduled start time will be non-refundable, and the full fee will remain
payable.

Online Classes
Cancellations
must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time in order to
receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the
scheduled start time will be non-refundable, and the full fee will remain
payable.

One-Day Retreats
A full refund
may be requested within 7 days of the original purchase date, provided that the
retreat start date is more than 14 days away. No refunds will be issued for
cancellations made 14 days or fewer prior to the retreat start date.
·
Cancellation by Organiser
In the event
that we are required to cancel a class, workshop, or retreat due to unforeseen
circumstances, you will be entitled to a full refund of all fees paid. Our
liability is strictly limited to the refund of the fees paid, and we shall not
be responsible for any additional costs or expenses incurred by you, including
but not limited to travel, accommodation, loss of earnings, or other related
expenses.

Force Majeure
We shall not be
held liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing our
obligations where such failure or delay results from events, circumstances, or
causes beyond our reasonable control. Such events may include, but are not
limited to, acts of God/ Divine, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters,
fire, flood, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, public health
emergencies, pandemics, strikes, venue closures, or instructor illness.
In such
circumstances, we reserve the right to reschedule the class, workshop, or
retreat to a later date. Where rescheduling is not reasonably possible, a
refund of fees paid will be issued. No additional compensation or damages shall
be payable.
10. Marketing
Permissions
We will use the information you provide when signing up to a class to stay in
touch with you and to provide updates by email. You can change your mind at any
time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive
from us, or by contacting jaina@yogawithjaina.com.

By participating
in a class, workshop, retreat or event with us, you acknowledge that you have
read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these conditions.
