Sometimes we never realise our potential. Often it takes a gentle shift of perception to understand that we can manifest and create our greatest dreams. All it requires is a deeper level of attention and concentration.
For example when I look at my own life, yoga was always my hobby and as I started to give it more awareness and concentration it became a way of life and purpose.
Also last week I got engaged to my partner Rakesh Patel. We have been friends for many years but it was only when I gave our friendship attention that it developed into a deeper and more meaningful relationship.
Small steps of concentration, being in the moment and enjoying life can lead to great achievements. For example enjoying different yoga classes, reading books on yoga etc all lead me to my path and career in yoga. Likewise going out with Rakesh on various dates and adventures, with no expectations of the future, lead us to a place within ourselves where we felt ready to make a greater commitment to each other.
The practice of meditation can help to develop your attention skills which can then be applied into all areas of your life. It also strengthens your mind and ability to stay in the present moment without dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.
If you would like to develop your attention skills please let me know. I would be more than happy to develop a personal meditation programme for you, to help you achieve your greatest potential!
