2020 has been a pivotal year and with the recent death of George Floyd bringing rise to the issue of racism it is time for us to all make a change. The Universe is calling for change in order to make the world a better place for ourselves, our children and future generations to come. You may be thinking how can I change? What do I need to do? I don’t understand. I hear you and feel your angst as there is so much to try and comprehend and navigate though in these current unsettling times.
However we all as individuals have our part to play in this world and YOUR role in this collective journey is significant. The changes you make in your life and more importantly in your thoughts, emotions and feelings can and will make a difference. In order to make a change we need to delve deep. We need to go to those uncomfortable places, memories and times that we do not want to revisit. We need to shine a light on our pain and our suffering. In shining the light we can heal our wounds to move forward and create a better life for ourselves and the world around us.
This message is not just for those of us who have been affected by racism. This message is for those who have had their dreams shattered, who have been abused, shamed or denied the reality they deserve. We have all been pained and if we continue to carry our pain with us then it will be projected into the world and onto others. Thus the circle of suffering continues until we shine a light and heal our pain.
What would the world look like if we all took accountability for this call for change? I believe the world would look safe, light and peaceful. It’s a vision and hope that I hold in my heart and it’s also a personal journey that I have been through in my own inner healing. If I can feel lighter and more peaceful than so can you! Are you ready to make a change?
As always in order to make these deep changes I ask you to turn to your yoga practice, to meditation, journaling and even therapy or counselling. I highly recommend ,this directory to help you find the right person to guide you through the journey
Wishing you and our world love, light and peace.
