CREATION, PRESERVATION AND DESTRUCTION

I have been teaching yoga for seven years and the journey has been incredible. I’ve taught classes, workshops and retreats. I’ve also enjoyed sharing yoga via online mediums such as the blog and newsletters. The most rewarding part of the process has been sharing the journey with you and the community of people we have built together, whether that has been in person or virtually online.

When I first started this journey it was just me and over time I have connected with students, fellow teachers and other professionals. I now surround myself with so many likeminded people who are all on this journey to become healthier, happier and ultimately to make the world a better place.

Yoga with Jaina has been a blessing and has actually healed me in so many ways. I have been your teacher and guide but truly I have been the student and I have been learning from you all. I have grown in so many ways but there is still so much within me that I wish to explore.

Recently I have felt the need to delve into new and different parts of myself and in order to do this I need to let go and take space. It is difficult to let go of something that you have built and created but I also understand the spiritual concept of creation, preservation and destruction.  Not to say that I will be destroying Yoga with Jaina but the time has come to let go in order for me to create something new which will serve us both in new and empowering ways.

Some of you may have come across this concept in Hinduism where Trimurti represents the trinity of supreme divinity. The Hindu God Brahma represents creation, Vishnu represents preservation and Shiva represents destruction.

Therefore I am taking an extended break and I am going travelling for three to six months in September. I’m not exactly sure when I will be back but when I do return I hope to share new insights with you all whether that is through a class or a new format.

Before I leave I will give you all further details about other yoga teachers whom I recommend in the area. You can also follow my videos on my website to help with your home practice.

During this time I really encourage you to keep up your yoga practice and to become independent. Practice yoga at home in the morning or the evening and make it part of your daily routine.  When yoga becomes part of your life you will never feel alone and you will always find a space of comfort.

While I am away I hope to continue to share the journey via the newsletter and the blog so do stay connected. Also you can continue your practice with me over the summer so I hope to see you in class. Private clients will be informed separately about their class schedules and the last public classes will take place as follows…

Northwood – Monday 21st August 2017 at 7.45 – 9pm

Radlett – Tuesday 29th August 2017 at 12.15 – 1.30pm

Bushey – Thursday 31st August 2017 at 7.30 – 8.45pm.

I look forward to seeing you in class to share the end of an era.

Sending you so much love,

Jaina x
